In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. He loved helping his grandfather, a wise old man who owned a vast mango orchard. One sunny morning, Grandfather handed Arjun a tray of delicate saplings. 'Arjun, these little plants need to be planted in the soil and watered before the sun sets today. If they stay in this tray too long, they will wither away,' he instructed.
Arjun started the work with a smile. However, halfway through, his friend Rohan ran by. 'Arjun! Come play football! There is plenty of time left!' Rohan shouted. Arjun thought, 'I can finish this in ten minutes later. Why rush?' and ran off to play.
By the time Arjun returned, the sky was turning orange and the shadows were long. He rushed to the garden, his heart racing. In his haste to beat the darkness, he accidentally tripped, spilling the water and planting some saplings too deep. The next morning, he found the delicate plants had wilted. Arjun felt a heavy sadness in his chest. Grandfather sat beside him and said, 'When the opportunity to do good is in your hands, do it immediately. Once the moment passes, even our regrets cannot bring it back.'
