Dev and the True Freedom

In a peaceful village nestled in the hills, a young boy named Dev lived with his grandfather. His grandfather was known for his deep wisdom. One afternoon, Dev was busy collecting shiny stones and colorful beads, thinking they would make him happy forever. His grandfather watched him and said, 'Dev, come with me.' They walked to a steep hill. 'Try to carry this heavy basket of stones to the top,' the grandfather suggested. Dev tried with all his might, but soon he was panting, sweating, and feeling that his own body was too heavy to move. He sat down, exhausted. His grandfather sat beside him and said, 'Dev, if you wish to find true peace and free yourself from the endless cycle of desires, you must first learn to master this body. If even your own body feels like a burden, what use are all these treasures you collect? To seek higher truths, one must first find balance within themselves.' Dev realized that true freedom wasn't about gathering things, but about mastering himself.
