The Wealth of a Shadow

In a peaceful valley lived a wealthy man named Vikram. Vikram had vast fields and a grand mansion, but he had a heart of stone. He never smiled, and his face was always set in a harsh, angry scowl. Whenever a villager came to seek advice or help, Vikram would bark orders or turn them away with a cold stare. People feared him more than they respected him. One day, a kind-hearted widow named Meera came to him, asking for a small loan to buy seeds for her farm. Instead of listening, Vikram shouted, 'Go away! I don't have time for beggars!' He understood that wealth held by a person who is unapproachable and harsh is like the stolen treasure of a demon—it brings no true joy or security.
