An elderly man named Samuel, who was watching from nearby, stepped forward. He comforted Leo and then turned to Vikram with a gentle smile. 'Vikram,' Samuel said softly, 'eyes are not just for seeing objects; they are meant to see the hearts of others. A gaze without kindness is like having no eyes at all.' Vikram felt a pang in his heart. He realized that his authority meant nothing if he couldn't show compassion. From that day on, Vikram learned to look at the world with warmth and empathy.
