The Generous Dreamer

In a peaceful valley lived a young man named Arjun. Arjun had a heart of gold; he loved helping everyone in the village. However, Arjun had one flaw—he disliked hard work. He preferred spending his days resting under the shade of trees. His father, a hardworking farmer named Madhav, provided everything for him. Whenever a neighbor needed help, Arjun would eagerly give away the money his father had earned. One day, his friend Rohan asked for a loan to start a small shop. Arjun happily gave him a large sum from his father's savings. But soon, a great drought hit the village, and Madhav became too ill to work in the fields. Without his father's labor, the family's income stopped. When Rohan came back to share his success and asked Arjun for help with a new project, Arjun had nothing left to give. His generosity, which once seemed so grand, vanished because it wasn't backed by his own effort. Arjun realized that true kindness must be supported by the strength of one's own labor.
