In a peaceful village nestled between green hills, lived a young boy named Kari. Kari loved woodworking. One day, his father gave him a big challenge: 'Kari, we need to build a sturdy wooden swing for the village festival. Can you do it?'
Kari was excited, but the task was harder than he thought. As he worked, things kept going wrong. His hammer slipped, the wood was too hard to carve, and sometimes he felt too tired to continue. His friend, Rohan, saw him struggling and said, 'Kari, why don't we stop? This is too much work for one person. Let's just go play!'
Kari paused. He felt like giving up. He thought that if he had better tools or more help, it would be easy. But then, he remembered his father's words: 'The strength of your work comes from the strength of your mind.'
Instead of complaining about the tools, Kari decided to focus. He sharpened his saws, planned his steps carefully, and worked through his tiredness. Even when the wood cracked, he didn't lose heart; he simply started again with more care.
When the festival arrived, the swing was the most beautiful and strongest piece in the village. Everyone cheered for him. Kari realized that his success didn't come from having the best tools, but from the determination in his heart to finish what he started.
