In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. Arjun loved nature and spent most of his time in his small garden. One sunny morning, his father brought home a special sapling. 'Arjun,' his father said, 'this plant is very delicate. You must plant it in the soil and water it immediately for it to thrive.'
Arjun was excited. 'Don't worry, Father! I will do it this evening,' he promised. But when evening came, his friends called him to play football. 'I'll plant it tomorrow morning,' Arjun thought to himself. 'The morning sun will be better for the plant anyway.'
However, the next morning it rained heavily. The day after that, he had too much homework. Day after day, the task of planting the sapling kept getting pushed back. A week later, Arjun went to the garden to finally plant his treasure. To his heartbreak, he found the sapling had withered and turned brown. Because it hadn't been planted and watered in time, it could no longer survive.
Arjun sat by the garden, feeling very sad. His father approached him and gently said, 'Arjun, making a good plan is only half the battle. The real success lies in acting on that plan without delay. When you decide to do something, do it right away.'
Arjun learned a valuable lesson that day. He realized that a decision without action is like a seed that never grows.
