In a kingdom long ago, there lived a young man named Arjun. He was known for his intelligence and his ability to speak clearly. One day, a great crisis arose. The neighboring King, Vikram, was furious with Arjun's king and was preparing for a war.
Arjun's mentor told him, "Arjun, you must go to King Vikram and convince him to seek peace. But remember, timing is everything."
Arjun rushed to the palace immediately. However, when he arrived, King Vikram was in the middle of a heated argument with his generals. Arjun tried to present his message right then. This only made the King angrier! "How dare you interrupt me with your peace talks!" the King roared.
Arjun realized his mistake. He didn't argue; instead, he quietly stepped back. He spent the next two days observing. He watched when the King was calm, when he was alone, and when the atmosphere was peaceful. On the third evening, as the King was sitting quietly in his garden, Arjun approached him. He spoke with great respect, acknowledging the King's strength first, and then gently suggested peace. Because Arjun chose the right moment, the right place, and the right words, the war was avoided.
