In the peaceful kingdom of Chandrapur, lived Prince Vikram. He relied heavily on his trusted advisor, Madhav. Madhav was known for his kind words and gentle guidance. One evening, as the monsoon clouds gathered, Prince Vikram announced, "Madhav, tomorrow I shall lead a grand hunting expedition into the deep forest. Prepare the guards and the horses immediately!"
Madhav felt a knot in his stomach. He knew that the heavy rains had made the forest paths slippery and the wild animals more aggressive. If he agreed to the Prince's request, he would be seen as a loyal follower. But if he spoke the truth, he might face the Prince's anger. Taking a deep breath, Madhav said softly, "Prince, your courage is unmatched. However, the forest is currently treacherous due to the rains. A hunt now would bring more danger than glory. May we wait until the paths are safe?"
Vikram was initially furious. He felt his authority was being questioned. But as he looked at the darkening sky and thought about the safety of his men, he realized Madhav was right. He decided to postpone the hunt. A week later, when the weather cleared, the Prince went on a successful and safe expedition. He realized that Madhav's refusal to support a bad idea was the greatest act of loyalty.
