Once upon a time, there was a small, peaceful kingdom at the edge of a great valley. The King, Vikram, was a kind man, but his kingdom was very poor. His young son, Aryan, often watched the empty treasury and wondered, 'Father, why do we struggle so much even though we are good people?'
Vikram sat his son down and said, 'Aryan, a kingdom is like a garden. To protect the flowers, we must sometimes build strong fences and defend them from those who wish to take them. A king's true wealth comes from his ability to protect his land and the resources gained through righteous victories.'
Not long after, a greedy warlord from a neighboring land decided to invade Vikram's peaceful valley. Vikram did not hesitate. He gathered his brave soldiers and led them to defend their homes. The battle was fierce, but Vikram's courage led them to victory. In the aftermath of the battle, the resources and territories of the defeated aggressor became part of Vikram's kingdom.
With these new resources, Vikram was able to build schools, repair roads, and ensure no child in his kingdom went hungry. Aryan realized that the strength to defend and the victory that follows are what truly sustain a nation's prosperity.
