In a lush green forest lived a rabbit named Kavi and a tortoise named Titu. Kavi was fast and energetic, while Titu was slow and steady. One afternoon, a hungry tiger entered their territory. All the animals scattered in fear. Kavi, panicked, tried to hide behind a bush, but the tiger's sharp eyes spotted his twitching ears. Just as the tiger was about to pounce, Titu began making loud, rhythmic thumping sounds against a hollow log nearby. The tiger, distracted by the strange noise, turned its gaze toward Titu. This gave Kavi a split second to dash into a deep burrow. The tiger then lunged toward Titu, but the clever tortoise quickly pulled himself into a thicket of thorny bushes where the tiger couldn't reach him. Once the danger passed, Kavi emerged, trembling. 'Titu, you saved my life! I thought I was lost,' Kavi cried. Titu smiled gently and said, 'A true friend is the only wall that can stand firm against any danger.'
The Shield of True Friendship
The story illustrates that while many things can protect us, the presence of a loyal friend is the most reliable defense against any threat. What so sure defence 'gainst all that foe can do?
