In a peaceful village lived a boy named Arjun. Arjun was known for his gentle heart and his willingness to help anyone in need. In the same village lived a boy named Vikram. Vikram was incredibly intelligent; his room was filled with hundreds of thick books, and he could recite facts about everything from stars to history.
However, Vikram had a coldness in his heart. He believed that because he knew so much, he was superior to everyone else. One afternoon, the village organized a community race. Both Arjun and Vikram participated. As they were running, Arjun tripped on a stone and hurt his ankle. He sat on the ground, grimacing in pain.
Vikram, who was running right beside him, didn't stop. Instead of helping, he looked at Arjun and said, 'You are too slow and clumsy. This is why you will never win.' He then sprinted ahead to claim the prize.
An elderly woman passing by saw this. She stopped, comforted Arjun, and helped him walk home. While Vikram won the trophy and could explain the physics of running, he couldn't understand why the villagers looked at him with disappointment. He had mastered the books, but he had not mastered the art of being a good human being.
