In a peaceful village lived a boy named Arjun. Arjun was very smart, but he had one flaw: he refused to believe in anything that couldn't be measured by a ruler. One evening, the villagers gathered under the great Banyan tree to share stories of the forest spirits and the ancient rhythm of nature. Arjun scoffed, 'These are just stories! There is no magic in this world, only logic.'
Because he mocked the traditions and feelings of others, his friends slowly stopped inviting him to play. Arjun became lonely. One afternoon, while exploring the woods alone, he got lost as a heavy mist rolled in. Fear gripped his heart. He felt small and helpless. An old woman named Meera found him and guided him back. She said softly, 'Arjun, truth is not just what you can touch. The beliefs and values of people hold this world together. If you deny what everyone else lives by, you will find yourself living in a world of shadows, alone.'
Arjun realized that by rejecting the shared truths of his community, he was rejecting the community itself. He learned to respect the wisdom of others and finally found his way back to his friends.
