In a peaceful village lived a hardworking young man named Aryan. He had a close friend, Rohan, who had fallen into a bad habit of drinking too much. Rohan often lost his sense of self and his dignity whenever he drank.
One evening, Rohan approached Aryan with a pleading look. "Aryan, my friend, I just need a little money to buy a drink. It makes all my worries disappear!" he begged. Aryan felt uneasy. He knew that once Rohan started drinking, he wouldn't be himself anymore. But Rohan's persistence was strong, and Aryan eventually handed over some of his hard-earned savings.
As soon as Rohan got the money, he bought the drink and began to consume it. Within minutes, Rohan was stumbling blindly, unable to recognize his own friends or even his own name. He had lost his consciousness and his respect. Watching him, Aryan felt a deep sadness. He realized that by giving his money, he had essentially helped his friend purchase a state of ignorance and loss of self.
When Rohan finally sobered up the next morning, he looked at his empty pockets and his shattered dignity. He realized that he had traded his precious wealth and his very mind for a few moments of emptiness.
