The Measure of Greatness

In a bright, sunlit village lived two boys named Arjun and Leo. They were born in the same month, attended the same school, and shared the same playground. One summer, the village organized a grand community feast. Arjun, a kind-hearted boy, decided to help the elders carry heavy baskets and ensured that every guest had enough water to drink. He worked hard, finding joy in helping others. Leo, on the other hand, thought, 'Why should I work when I can just play?' He spent the entire day running around, ignoring the needs of the villagers. When the feast ended, the village elders gathered to thank those who contributed. They honored Arjun with a beautiful wooden flute for his selfless service. Leo stood in the shadows, feeling a strange emptiness. Arjun walked up to him and said gently, 'Leo, we started this journey at the same point, but it is the path we choose to walk and the help we give that makes us who we are.' Leo realized that while their beginnings were the same, their actions had made them very different. From that day on, Leo decided to make his actions count.
