In the bustling town of Chandrapur lived a merchant named Vikram. Vikram was incredibly wealthy; his granaries were full, and his gold chests were heavy. However, Vikram had a cold heart. He believed that every coin earned was his alone and refused to help anyone in need. His young daughter, Meera, often watched him count his coins and felt a pang of sadness. One harsh winter, a family of weavers lost their home in a storm and had nothing to eat. Meera pleaded, 'Father, please, just a little grain could save them.' Vikram shook his head, 'Wealth is for security, not for giving away.' Years passed. Vikram grew old, sitting alone in his massive, silent mansion. His wealth remained untouched, but his life felt hollow. He realized that his gold couldn't buy him companionship or the warmth of a grateful smile. His vast fortune, which he had guarded so fiercely, felt as useless as a beautiful garden that never bloomed because no one was there to enjoy it.
