The Scent of Hard Work

In a quiet village lived a farmer named Arul. He didn't own vast lands, but he had a small, well-tended garden. Every morning, before the sun rose, Arul would be in his field, digging the soil with his own hands and tending to his crops with sweat and care. One year, a severe drought hit the village. The wells ran dry, and many villagers struggled to find food. Even Arul's small garden began to wither. One evening, an elderly man, looking frail and hungry, approached Arul's doorstep. Arul was exhausted from a long day of labor, and his own food supplies were very low. However, seeing the man's plight, Arul didn't hesitate. He shared the small portion of grain he had prepared. 'Please, sir, take this,' he said softly. The old man ate, looked into Arul's hardworking hands, and said, 'A man who lives by his hands will never have to ask for bread; instead, he will be the one providing it.' Inspired, Arul continued to work through the hardship. His perseverance eventually brought his garden back to life, and he lived a life of dignity, always helping others instead of asking for help himself.
