In a sunny valley lived a young man named Leo. Leo owned a beautiful patch of land, rich and fertile. However, Leo had a bad habit—he was incredibly lazy. Whenever his neighbors asked him to plant seeds, he would sigh and say, 'Oh, I am just so poor, it is my fate to have nothing.' He would then spend his days napping under a shady tree.
His friend, Sam, was a hardworking farmer. Every morning, Sam was out in the fields, sweating under the sun to nurture his crops. One day, Sam noticed Leo sleeping while the soil was perfect for sowing. 'Leo, the earth is ready to give, but you are not ready to work!' Sam warned. Leo just laughed it off.
As the seasons changed, Sam’s farm turned into a golden sea of grain. But Leo’s land became a mess of weeds and dry dust. Soon, Leo found himself with no food in his pantry. As he sat hungry, he looked at his barren land and realized that his poverty wasn't bad luck—it was his own laziness. He finally stood up, picked up a spade, and began to work. As he labored, the earth seemed to welcome him back.
