Deep within a lush, green forest, there lived a magnificent lion who ruled with wisdom and grace. He was respected by all, not because of his strength alone, but because of his calm and fair nature.
One bright morning, the forest animals decided to hold a grand festival to celebrate the season. All the creatures—the deer, the rabbits, and the elephants—gathered in the great clearing. As the festivities began, the Lion King walked majestically toward the center of the gathering. Seeing his noble presence, every animal bowed their heads in respect and made way for him.
However, near the edge of the crowd, a donkey was watching with a smirk. As the Lion passed by, the donkey began to whisper loudly to the nearby animals. "Look at him!" the donkey scoffed. "He isn't the mighty king he used to be. He walks so slowly now. Is this really a leader worthy of us?"
The Lion heard the donkey's mocking words clearly. A lesser king might have roared in anger or punished the donkey for his disrespect. But the Lion knew that a true leader does not waste time on petty insults. He chose to remain composed and dignified.
Instead of reacting, the Lion smiled warmly at his subjects and continued the ceremony with grace. The other animals watched in awe, realizing that the Lion's strength lay in his self-control. The donkey, seeing that his words had no power to shake the King, felt ashamed and fell silent.
