In a lush green forest, there lived a strong deer named Karka. Unlike the other deer who spent their entire day frolicking in the meadows, Karka was always focused on something important.
One sunny afternoon, Karka was standing by a large, rough stone, carefully rubbing his antlers against it to make them sharp and strong. A playful fox named Foxy happened to pass by and stopped, looking puzzled.
"Hey Karka! What are you doing?" Foxy asked, tilting his head. "The sun is shining, the grass is sweet, and there is no danger anywhere. Why are you working so hard?"
Karka didn't stop his task immediately. He replied calmly, "I am sharpening my antlers, Foxy."
Foxy let out a little laugh. "But why now? You are perfectly safe right now. You are wasting your beautiful day on something you don't even need!"
Karka looked at the fox with steady eyes and said, "You are right, Foxy. I am safe today. But if a predator attacks me tomorrow, I won't have the time to sharpen my antlers then. It is much better to prepare while I am safe than to struggle when I am in danger."
Foxy realized that Karka was right. While the fox went back to playing, he made sure to find a safe hiding spot for the night, learning that being prepared is the best way to stay safe.
