In a vast, emerald forest, there lived a mighty lion named Leo. He ruled the woods with an iron paw. One afternoon, while Leo was hunting, he caught a large deer. However, during the struggle, one of the deer's sharp antlers poked the lion's gums, causing him immense pain. Enraged by the sting, Leo let out a thunderous roar that shook the trees. 'From this day on, any animal with horns or antlers is forbidden in my forest! Leave now, or face my wrath!' he declared.

Terrified by his command, all the horned animals—the deer, the goats, and the antelopes—packed their belongings and migrated to a neighboring forest.

Not long after, a small rabbit named Pip wandered into this new forest looking for clover. It was late afternoon, and the sun was casting long, stretched shadows. As Pip hopped along, the sunlight hit his long, upright ears, casting a shadow on the ground that looked exactly like two pointed horns. Panicked, Pip looked back and screamed, 'Oh no! I have grown horns! Leo will find me and punish me!' He ran blindly through the bushes, trembling with fear.

Pip eventually reached the clearing where the deer lived. He cried to them, 'I must go back! I have horns! The lion will catch me!' An old deer looked at him with pity and said, 'Little Pip, if you had stayed in the old forest, you might have been hunted because of your appearance. But here, you are safe from the lion, yet you are running from your own shadow. If you cannot face your own shadow, you will find no peace anywhere in the world.'

Pip realized that his fear was creating monsters that didn't exist. He sat down, breathed deeply, and learned to walk with confidence.
