In a peaceful village lived a young girl named Nila. Nila had a magical touch with plants; her garden was the pride of the neighborhood. She loved digging small holes, planting tiny seeds, and watching them grow into lush greenery.
One sunny morning, Nila noticed her garden lacked a splash of bright color. She decided she wanted bright yellow flowers to make her garden look like a golden dream. She went to the village market, bought special yellow flower seeds, and carefully planted them in a sunny corner of her garden. Every morning, she would sing to them while watering them.
Weeks passed, and the plant grew tall and bushy. However, despite its thick green leaves, not a single bud appeared. Nila waited and waited, but the plant seemed to be doing nothing but growing leaves. One afternoon, feeling frustrated and tired of the waiting, Nila grabbed a small spade. "This plant is a waste of time! It will never bloom," she grumbled to herself.
Just as she was about to dig it up, her neighbor, Mr. Baru, called out, "Wait, Nila! Why are you so upset?"
"Mr. Baru, I have cared for this plant for so long, but it refuses to flower. I think it's a bad seed, so I'm going to remove it," Nila replied sadly.
Mr. Baru smiled kindly and said, "Sometimes, we only see a small part of the truth. Come with me to the back of my garden."
Nila followed him. Behind a small stone wall that separated their gardens, she saw something wonderful. A branch of her plant had grown through a gap in the wall into Mr. Baru’s yard. In that spot, where the sunlight hit perfectly, the plant was covered in magnificent, glowing yellow flowers! The part of the plant in Nila's yard was simply waiting for the right light.
Nila felt a wave of regret. "Oh no! I almost destroyed something beautiful just because I couldn't see the whole picture," she whispered.
She learned to be patient and continued to care for the plant. Soon, the entire bush was filled with golden blooms, making her garden the most beautiful in the village.
