In the heart of the Blue Mountain Forest, a small community of mice lived happily near the roots of a massive banyan tree. They had built cozy tunnels and felt safe, but their peace was short-lived.
A large, dark serpent had moved into the area. It would hide beneath the tree roots, waiting patiently for a mouse to emerge, only to strike with lightning speed. Fearing for their lives, the mice decided to abandon their home and seek refuge in a narrow crevice of a nearby rocky cliff.
However, a new danger awaited them there. A sharp-eyed hawk, circling high above, spotted the mice on the rocks. It would dive down suddenly, snatching up any mouse that ventured out into the open. The mice were trapped between the crawling serpent below and the soaring hawk above.
Among the mice was a clever fellow named Pip. Seeing the fear in everyone's eyes, Pip spoke up, "Friends, we cannot fight the serpent or the hawk with strength. But we can make them fight each other!"
"How can we do that?" asked a worried mouse. "They will only see us as food."
Pip explained his plan: "We will choose our two fastest runners. One will stand by the banyan tree, and the other will stand by the rock crevice. At the exact same moment, they will run toward the deep pit in the middle of the clearing and jump in. When the serpent and the hawk rush to catch the vanishing mice, they will collide with each other."
The mice carefully selected their swiftest members. As planned, the two mice appeared at their respective spots. The serpent slithered rapidly from the tree, and the hawk dove sharply from the sky. Just as the predators reached the edge of the pit to grab the mice, the mice disappeared into the safety of the hole. The serpent and the hawk crashed into one another in their fury.
Startled and bruised by the unexpected collision, the two predators realized this area was too much trouble. They left the forest and never returned. The mice, thanks to Pip's wit, lived in peace once more.

Intelligence is more powerful than brute strength.
