In a lush green forest, a young boy named Arjun lived with his grandfather. One sunny afternoon, while exploring the woods, Arjun found a tiny sparrow lying on the ground, gasping for breath. The little bird was dehydrated and too weak to even flutter its wings. Without a second thought, Arjun poured some water from his flask into a small leaf and helped the bird drink. The sparrow chirped weakly and eventually flew away.
Weeks later, Arjun was playing near a rocky slope when he accidentally slipped and fell into a deep, narrow pit. His ankle was badly bruised, and he couldn't climb out. As evening approached, the forest grew dark and chilly. Arjun felt lonely and terrified. Suddenly, he heard a familiar chirping. It was the same sparrow! The bird began flying low around the pit, chirping loudly and incessantly to attract attention. Hearing the commotion, Arjun's grandfather rushed to the spot and rescued him.
As Arjun sat safely at home, he looked at the sparrow perched on the windowsill. He realized that the small act of kindness he had shown when the bird had nothing, had come back to save his life. He understood that a selfless help given in a time of need is more precious than all the gold in the world.
