In a beautiful village nestled in the hills lived a young boy named Karikalan. He had a favorite wooden toy that he cherished deeply. One afternoon, while playing, he accidentally broke it. Panicked and afraid of being scolded, Karikalan did something he never thought he would: he blamed his friend, Mugilan. 'Mugilan broke it!' he cried out.
That evening, the whole village looked at Mugilan with disappointment. Mugilan, confused and hurt, sat alone and wept. Karikalan, meanwhile, was in his room. He couldn't eat his dinner, and sleep refused to come. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw Mugilan's tearful face. The lie felt like a hot coal burning inside his chest. His own mind was punishing him for his dishonesty.
Unable to bear the guilt any longer, Karikalan ran to Mugilan the next morning. He confessed everything and asked for forgiveness. As soon as the truth was out, the heavy weight in his heart vanished, and he finally felt at peace.
