In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. Arjun was bright and energetic, but he had one big problem: he lost his temper very easily. Whenever something didn't go his way, his face would turn red, and he would shout.
One sunny afternoon, Arjun's best friend, Rohan, was building a beautiful wooden sailboat. Arjun had been waiting all week to see it finished. As Arjun leaned in to admire the delicate sails, Rohan accidentally bumped into him. Arjun felt a surge of anger. 'Watch what you're doing!' he yelled, his heart racing with fury. Rohan looked down, feeling sad and apologetic, but he didn't say a word.
Arjun's grandfather, who was watching from the porch, called him over. 'Arjun,' he said gently, 'anger is like a cloud that hides the sun. When you let anger grow in your heart, you lose the clarity to see the beauty around you. If you keep your heart calm, you will find that everything you desire comes to you much more easily.'
Arjun sat quietly and thought. He realized that if he let his anger win, he would ruin his friendship and miss the joy of playing with the boat. He took a deep breath, calmed his racing heart, and turned to Rohan. 'I'm sorry, Rohan. I shouldn't have shouted,' he said softly. Rohan smiled brightly and handed the boat to Arjun. Because Arjun chose peace over anger, he spent a wonderful evening playing with his friend, feeling happy and content.
