In a peaceful valley lived a farmer named Arjun. He was a prosperous man with vast fields and a large, comfortable home. Arjun always shared his joy with his brothers, Ravi and Vikram. However, life took an unexpected turn when a severe drought hit the valley. For two long years, not a single drop of rain fell. Arjun’s crops withered, his savings vanished, and eventually, he lost his lands and his wealth.
Arjun felt a deep sense of loneliness and fear. He thought, 'Now that I have nothing to offer, will my brothers still care for me? Will they see me as a burden?' He felt ashamed to face them. One evening, as Arjun sat despondently under a withered tree, he saw Ravi and Vikram walking toward him. Instead of looking down on him, they embraced him warmly. 'Arjun,' Vikram said, 'The fields may be dry, but our hearts are full of love for you. We are here to help you rebuild.' They brought him seeds, tools, and food. Arjun realized that while his gold had disappeared, the golden bond of family remained unchanged.
