In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Kavin. Kavin loved nothing more than painting. One afternoon, his grandfather handed him an old wooden box. Inside was a beautiful, but incredibly complex, drawing template. 'Kavin, do you think you can recreate this?' his grandfather asked.
Kavin looked at the pattern. It featured a massive, snow-capped mountain, intricate forests, and a rushing waterfall. 'It’s too hard, Grandpa! I can't do it,' Kavin sighed, dropping his brush in discouragement.
Grandpa smiled gently and said, 'Don't let the thought of difficulty stop you before you even begin. Just start working. The effort you put in will build the greatness and skill you need to finish it.'
Kavin hesitated, but then picked up his brush. He started with a single small stroke. Then a leaf, then a stone, then a cloud. Hours passed. His hands grew tired and his eyes felt heavy, but he kept going. He didn't look at the whole mountain at once; he just focused on the next small part.
By sunset, a magnificent masterpiece sat on his desk. The mountain looked alive. Kavin realized that the mountain wasn't too big for him; it was his fear that was big. Through his hard work, he had grown into a better artist.
