In the golden kingdom of Chandrapur, lived a young and kind King named Vikram. Vikram was loved by all, but he was new to the throne. His most trusted advisor was a man named Somesh, who always spoke sweet words to the King. However, behind those sweet words, Somesh was planning to drain the kingdom's treasury for his own gain.
One summer, news arrived that a large army from a neighboring land was approaching the borders. Vikram felt anxious. Somesh immediately whispered, "Your Majesty, these enemies are too strong. Do not fight them. Instead, give them half of our gold to go away. It is safer this way." Vikram hesitated. He thought about the lives lost in war, but he also felt a strange doubt about Somesh's advice.
