In a bright little village lived a kind boy named Arjun. His best friend was Rohan. Rohan was always very enthusiastic, promising to help Arjun with everything. One summer, the village children decided to build a large wooden playhouse. Arjun asked, 'Rohan, will you help me build it?' Rohan beamed and said, 'Of course, Arjun! I can do anything!'
However, when the work actually began, Rohan started to change. Whenever there was a heavy task, Rohan would suddenly feel a headache, or say his hands were too tired, or claim he had to help his mother. He had the strength and the tools, but he pretended he couldn't do it. Arjun felt hurt, but he didn't want to argue or make a scene in front of the village.
Arjun realized that Rohan wasn't a true friend. Instead of confronting him angrily or causing a big fight, Arjun decided to follow a wiser path. He slowly started spending less time with Rohan and began working with other helpful friends instead. He didn't tell Rohan why he was distancing himself; he simply moved on quietly. Eventually, the playhouse was finished, and Rohan was no longer a part of Arjun's inner circle. By avoiding a confrontation, Arjun protected his peace and moved away from a false friendship.
