In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. Arjun was bright, but he had a habit of acting like he knew everything. One sunny afternoon, he saw Old Man Samuel sitting under a large banyan tree. Arjun ran up to him and declared, "Grandpa, I have learned everything there is to know about the world!"
Samuel smiled kindly and said, "Is that so, Arjun? Then tell me, why does a plant need sunlight to grow?"
Arjun puffed out his chest and replied, "Plants don't need sun. They just need to hear my beautiful singing, and they will grow instantly!"
Samuel tried to explain, "But Arjun, without sunlight, the plant cannot make food. It will wither away."
Arjun shook his head dismissively. "You are mistaken, Grandpa. My music is much more powerful than the sun!" He walked away, feeling very proud of his 'wisdom.'
A few days later, Arjun saw the plant in his garden turning brown and drooping. Instead of realizing his mistake, he told his friends, "The plant is just bowing down to my songs. It is so happy that it has lost its strength!"
Samuel watched from a distance, realizing that trying to teach someone who refuses to see the truth is like trying to show light to someone who insists they are not in the dark.
