In a bright, sunlit village, two inseparable friends named Arjun and Rohan lived. They shared everything—from their snacks to their secrets. However, one afternoon, during a game of cricket, Rohan accidentally broke Arjun’s favorite wooden toy. Arjun felt a surge of anger. 'I don't want to see you ever again!' he shouted.
From that day on, a wall of silence rose between them. Rohan tried to apologize, but Arjun turned his back. Soon, this tiny spark of hatred spread to their other friends. The playground, once full of laughter, was now divided into two camps. People stopped playing together, and a heavy, uncomfortable tension hung over the village.
One evening, a sudden storm hit the village. While running for cover, Rohan slipped and fell into a muddy ditch, unable to climb out. Arjun saw him struggling. For a moment, the old anger flared up in Arjun's heart. But then, he realized how lonely and miserable the village had become because of their fight. He realized that holding onto hate was like carrying a sickness.
Arjun rushed to Rohan and pulled him to safety. As they sat shivering under a shelter, Rohan whispered, 'I'm so sorry.' Arjun hugged him, realizing that their grudge had been a disease that almost destroyed their joy. The village soon returned to its happy, united self.
