In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. He had a wonderful talent for making intricate wooden toys. One summer, Arjun worked day and night to create a beautiful set of toys for the village fair. His classmate, Rohan, noticed how much everyone admired Arjun's work. Instead of being happy for his friend, Rohan decided to take the spotlight for himself.
Rohan began telling everyone, 'Arjun’s toys are okay, but look at the small wooden bird I carved! It is much more meaningful.' Rohan even went as far as saying that Arjun had only succeeded because of some small help Rohan had provided, even though that wasn't true. He wanted to use Arjun's hard work as a stepping stone to make himself look great.
Arjun felt a sting of sadness, but he realized something important. He didn't want to be part of a friendship where someone tried to build their reputation by pulling others down. Arjun chose to walk away from Rohan's negativity. He focused on his craft, letting his work speak for itself. Eventually, Arjun became a master craftsman, respected by all. Rohan, who spent all his time trying to steal the glory of others, ended up with no true friends and no real respect. Arjun learned that true greatness comes from one's own merit, not from riding on the coattails of others' accomplishments.
