In a peaceful valley lived a young man named Arjun and his wife, Meera. Arjun was known throughout the village for his calm and composed nature. He often told his friends, 'I am a man of great self-control. I never let my emotions show on my face.' He believed he could keep his deep affection for Meera hidden behind a mask of seriousness.
One evening, the village held a grand festival. Meera arrived wearing a bright jasmine garland and a beautiful silk dress. As soon as Arjun saw her, his heart skipped a beat. He tried his best to remain stoic and indifferent, just as he always promised. He sat perfectly still, trying to hide his excitement.
However, his eyes betrayed him. Every time Meera laughed, Arjun’s eyes would sparkle with joy. Whenever she walked past, a small, uncontrollable smile would creep onto his lips. Even though he tried to keep his love a secret within his heart, his face shone with a radiance that everyone could see. His neighbors whispered, 'Arjun thinks he is hiding his love, but his eyes tell the whole story!' Arjun realized that true love is like a bright light; no matter how much you try to cover it, it will always find a way to shine through.
