In a lush green forest, a mighty Lion ruled with wisdom, supported by his clever advisor, a Fox. All the animals lived in peace and harmony.
One day, a mischievous Monkey arrived in the forest. The Monkey was a master of trickery. To impress the animals, he claimed to possess magical powers. "Watch closely!" he shouted, waving his hands wildly in the air. Suddenly, a sweet, ripe mango appeared out of nowhere! The animals gasped in wonder. In reality, the Monkey had hidden the mango in his bushy arms and cleverly released it while moving his hands rapidly.
"From now on, I shall be your King!" the Monkey declared arrogantly. Some animals were skeptical. A deer stepped forward and said, "We already have a great King in the Lion. We do not need you."
"If you don't accept me, I will challenge the Lion to a contest and prove I am stronger!" the Monkey threatened. Tempted by his 'magic,' some animals began to follow him.
The Fox, however, had observed the Monkey's movements closely. He knew it was all a sham. He approached the Lion and whispered, "Your Majesty, this Monkey is a fraud. Let us expose him through a test of skill."
The next morning, all the animals gathered by the edge of a large, clear pond. The Monkey arrived, puffing out his chest. The Fox stepped forward and announced, "The challenge is simple. The winner will be the one who can walk across the surface of the water!"
The Monkey's face turned pale. How could anyone walk on water? But before he could protest, the Fox stepped into the pond. To everyone's amazement, the Fox seemed to glide effortlessly across the water's surface.
"The Fox is the true master!" the animals cheered. Shamed and terrified, the Monkey scrambled away into the deep woods.
The Lion turned to the Fox and asked, "How did you perform such a miracle, my friend?"
The Fox smiled and replied, "It was no miracle, Your Majesty. I noticed how the Monkey hid fruit in his hands. To teach him a lesson, I asked my friends, the Turtles, to line up just beneath the surface of the water last night. I was simply walking on their sturdy shells!"
The Lion and all the animals cheered for the Fox's brilliant mind.
