Once in a prosperous kingdom, there lived a young man named Rohan. His father had been a very wealthy merchant, but Rohan had a very bad habit: he loved spending money more than saving it. He always believed that as long as he was happy today, tomorrow would take care of itself.

After his father passed away, Rohan did not learn his lesson. He spent his entire inheritance on grand feasts and expensive toys. Before long, his gold coins were gone, and he found himself living in a tiny, broken hut. The only valuable thing he had left was a thick, warm woollen blanket.

One bright morning, Rohan looked out of his window. He noticed a group of birds huddling together on a branch. 'Look at those birds!' he thought with a grin. 'They are settling down for the sun. This means the warm summer is coming! I won't need this heavy blanket anymore.'

Driven by his foolishness, Rohan went to the market and sold his blanket for a few copper coins. He immediately spent that money on a large pile of sweets. He felt very clever, thinking he had outsmarted the seasons.

However, nature had a different plan. Instead of summer, a sudden and fierce cold wind began to blow. The sky turned grey, and heavy frost covered the ground. Rohan had no blanket to protect him from the biting chill. He shivered uncontrollably in the dark, realizing too late that his quick decisions had left him helpless. He spent the long, freezing night in great misery, regretting his lack of foresight.
