Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, lived a large community of frogs. During a particularly harsh summer, the sun beat down so strongly that all the small ponds and puddles dried up. Thirsty and tired, the frogs decided to embark on a long journey to find the Great Blue Lake.
As they were traveling through the thick bushes, two frogs accidentally tumbled into a deep, dark pit. The pit was very steep and the walls were slippery. The other frogs gathered around the edge, croaking loudly to offer encouragement, but the pit was far too deep for anyone to climb down and help.
Inside the pit, the two frogs reacted very differently to the danger. The first frog was filled with despair. 'It’s no use,' it cried, 'this pit is too deep and we will never get out. This is the end for us.' Overwhelmed by fear and hopelessness, the frog gave up all hope and sat quietly in the shadows.
However, the second frog refused to give up. It believed that every effort brought it a little closer to the top. 'I can do this!' it whispered to itself. It began to jump with all its might. Each time it jumped, it reached a little higher than the last. Although it fell back down many times, it kept trying, fueled by its own determination. Finally, after one massive, powerful leap, the frog managed to grab the edge of the pit and pull itself out to safety.
By staying positive and continuing to try, the frog turned a hopeless situation into a victory.
