In a lush green forest, there lived a little sparrow named Chittu. Chittu had a big dream: to build a cozy and safe nest of its own. One sunny morning, Chittu spent hours searching for tiny twigs and dried leaves. With much effort, it finally completed a small, round nest. Chittu chirped happily, feeling very proud of its hard work.
However, that very night, a fierce storm swept through the forest. The wind howled loudly, 'Whoosh! Whoosh!' The strong gusts tore through the branches, and before Chittu could react, its fragile nest was blown apart. Chittu sat on a branch, feeling heartbroken and exhausted. 'All my hard work was for nothing,' it thought sadly.
The next day, feeling discouraged, Chittu flew toward a nearby village to clear its mind. As it flew over the houses, it watched the humans closely. It saw a builder applying thick, wet mud to the gaps in a brick wall to make it strong. Chittu watched in wonder. 'The humans use mud to hold everything together! Why didn't I think of that?' it wondered.
With a new idea in its mind, Chittu flew back to the forest. This time, it didn't just collect twigs. It flew to the riverbank and gathered soft, sticky clay. It carefully layered the clay between the twigs, building a much stronger and sturdier nest tucked safely between two thick branches.
A few days later, a heavy storm returned to the forest. The wind blew harder than before, but Chittu's new nest stayed perfectly in place. Inside, Chittu felt warm and safe. By being willing to learn a better way, Chittu had turned a failure into a wonderful success.
