In a peaceful village, a farmer named Somu loved raising puppies. One sunny morning, he decided to find new homes for some of his litters. He carried a small wooden sign that read, 'Adorable Puppies for Sale,' and walked toward the village market.
As he walked, a young boy named Kavin approached him. Kavin was a gentle soul, but he walked with a noticeable limp because one of his legs did not grow quite like the others. Seeing the sign, Kavin asked softly, "Sir, do you have a puppy for me?"
Somu looked at the boy and replied, "These are for sale, little one. Do you have enough coins?" Kavin reached into his pocket and carefully handed over his hard-earned savings.
Somu let out a loud whistle. Immediately, a mother dog and her four puppies came running. Three of the puppies were energetic, jumping and racing toward them. However, the fourth puppy was different. It struggled to walk, limping slowly and dragging its hind legs behind.
Kavin pointed to the slow-moving puppy and said, "I want this one."
Somu shook his head kindly. "Kavin, that puppy is weak. It won't be able to run or play with you like the others. It might make you sad. Why don't you pick one of the energetic ones instead?"
Kavin smiled warmly and replied, "Sir, this puppy is just like me. It might not run fast, but it will understand me. We can walk together at our own pace."
Somu was deeply moved by Kavin's wisdom. While others might have seen only a weakness, Kavin saw a companion who would truly understand him. Somu helped Kavin carry the puppy home, realizing that true friendship isn't about being perfect, but about being there for one another.

True connection is found not in perfection, but in understanding and accepting each other's differences.
