Arjun was a gifted runner, possessing speed that seemed to defy gravity. Despite his talent, he was rarely chosen for the main races at his academy. The coaches preferred players who showed immediate, flashy results, leaving Arjun to practice in the shadows of the sidelines.

Arjun’s father was a man of quiet strength. Although he was blind, he never missed a single practice session. He would sit on a weathered wooden bench near the track, listening intently. To anyone else, it was just the sound of feet hitting the ground, but to Arjun, his father could hear the rhythm of his soul. 'I can hear your strength growing in every step, my son,' his father would often whisper.

Tragedy struck when Arjun’s father passed away unexpectedly. The world felt silent and empty to Arjun. After a period of mourning, he returned to the academy. It was the day of the Grand Championship. The head coach approached him, noticing his somber expression. 'Arjun, you seem distracted. Perhaps it is better if you sit this one out today.'

Arjun looked the coach in the eye and said firmly, 'Sir, please, let me run. I need this race.' Reluctantly, the coach agreed.

As the starting pistol fired, Arjun transformed. He wasn't just running; he was flying. He surged past the favorites, his breathing steady and his focus unbreakable. The crowd gasped as he crossed the finish line well ahead of the others. He had won.

His teammates rushed toward him, bewildered. 'Arjun! That was incredible! Where did that energy come from?' they asked.

With tears glistening in his eyes, Arjun replied, 'My father couldn't see my races, but he could hear them. He lived for the sound of my footsteps. I wanted to run a race so powerful, so rhythmic, that even from heaven, he could hear my victory. I ran for his ears today.'
