In a lush green forest, there lived a fox named Simba. Simba was a clever fox, but he had one big problem: he was always too impatient. He never stopped to think before jumping into a situation.
One scorching afternoon, Simba found himself incredibly hungry. He had searched near the river and under the bushes, but there was no food to be found. His stomach growled loudly, making him feel weak. Just as he was about to give up, he spotted something unusual near an old hollow log—a deep clay pot.
As Simba approached, a delicious aroma wafted from the pot. It smelled of sweet honey and roasted berries. 'Oh, how wonderful!' Simba thought, his eyes widening with greed. Without checking if he could get out, he thrust his head straight into the narrow neck of the pot and began feasting greedily.
He ate and ate until he was completely full. But when he tried to pull his head out, he realized he was stuck! Because his head had expanded slightly from the heavy meal, it no longer fit through the narrow opening. He pulled and tugged, but the pot wouldn't budge.
Simba felt a wave of panic. He realized that his greed and haste had trapped him. 'If only I had been more careful,' he whimpered, 'I should have checked if I could get back out before diving in!' He spent a long, scary time stuck there before a passing forest animal helped nudge the pot over, finally freeing him. Simba learned that day that haste leads to trouble.
