In a peaceful little village lived a man named Somu. Somu was known for his quick wit and kind heart. Whenever there was a small dispute between neighbors or a problem that needed solving, Somu would step in and settle it with his clever words. Sometimes, for bigger village matters, he would travel to the big city to speak with the officials.

Because Somu was so helpful, the villagers began to assume that every time he went to the city, he was going there on behalf of the village. As soon as he returned, a crowd would form. "Somu, did you meet the Governor?" "Somu, did you get us a new tax discount?" "Somu, did you talk to the General?" Each person would demand an answer, leaving Somu exhausted.

One afternoon, Somu was returning from the city after attending a close friend's wedding. As he walked towards the village, he felt a sense of dread. "If I walk through the market, everyone will surround me with questions. I am so tired from the journey, how will I manage?" he thought.

Suddenly, an idea struck him. Instead of walking straight home, he headed to the village square and climbed onto a wooden platform. He cleared his throat loudly. Seeing him, the villagers rushed toward him, eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Somu! You're back! Did you bring us some good news from the palace?" they shouted.

Somu put on a very serious face. "Yes," he said gravely. "I actually had a private meeting with the King himself!"

The crowd gasped in excitement. "The King!" they whispered. "What did His Majesty say to you? Did he mention our village?"

Somu leaned forward and said, "The King looked at me and shouted, 'Hey, you silly man! Move out of the way before my horse tramples you!'"

The villagers looked confused. "Why would the King say such a thing?" they asked.

Somu let out a small laugh. "Because I was standing right in the middle of the road where he was riding! Just like that, whenever I go to the city for my own personal business, you all surround me and demand answers. I cannot answer everyone. So, please, let me travel in peace!"

The villagers realized their mistake and burst into laughter. They understood that Somu's trips weren't always for them. From that day on, they stopped bothering him with endless questions, and Somu could travel freely.
