In a shimmering pond at the edge of a lush forest lived a turtle named Kavi. Kavi was strong and healthy, but he had a very bad habit: he was incredibly boastful. He often looked at the other forest animals and mocked them, saying, 'Look at how slow you are! At least my shell is a fortress that no one can break.'
One sunny afternoon, Kavi sat on a flat rock, watching a flock of eagles soar through the clouds. A pang of jealousy hit him. 'How unfair!' he grumbled to himself. 'The world must look so magnificent from up there. Why am I stuck here on the muddy ground?'
Just then, a majestic eagle named Aquila descended and perched on a nearby branch. Seeing an opportunity to satisfy his curiosity and his ego, Kavi called out, 'Oh, mighty Aquila! I have always dreamed of seeing the world from the heavens. Would you be kind enough to carry me on your back?'
Aquila looked down with sharp eyes. 'And what do I gain by carrying a heavy turtle through the sky?'
Kavi, thinking he was very clever, whispered, 'I know the secret location of a hidden treasure trove filled with shiny stones. If you fly me there, I will share half of it with you!'
Greed sparked in Aquila's eyes. The eagle gripped Kavi gently but firmly and took flight. As they rose higher and higher, Kavi felt a rush of excitement. 'I am flying! I am truly flying!' he cheered.
However, Aquila realized Kavi was lying about the treasure. Instead of being angry, the eagle decided to teach the turtle a lesson about honesty. As they reached a high, windy cliff, Aquila didn't drop him, but he maneuvered through a sudden, violent gust of wind, causing Kavi to tumble and strike against a hard, rocky ledge before sliding into a bush.
Kavi survived, but the impact was hard. His beautiful, sturdy shell—the one he was so proud of—was now cracked and broken. 'Oh no!' Kavi cried in pain. 'I tried to trick a great bird for a fake treasure, and now my own protection is ruined.'
Kavi realized that his greed and lies had cost him his most precious possession. From that day on, he became the most honest and humble turtle in the pond.

Those who try to deceive others for personal gain will ultimately face the consequences themselves.
