In a sunny little village lived a boy named Arjun. Arjun was energetic, but he had a naughty habit of playing pranks on others just to see them upset. His friend, Ravi, was a gentle boy who loved making small clay models. One afternoon, while Ravi was carefully finishing a beautiful clay house, Arjun ran past and intentionally knocked it over. Ravi’s eyes filled with tears. Arjun just laughed and said, "It’s just mud, Ravi! Why are you so upset?"
Later that evening, Arjun was running through the garden with his favorite new kite. He was so caught up in his excitement that he didn't notice a thorny bush ahead. He tripped, the thorns scratched his legs, and his precious kite got stuck and torn in the branches. As Arjun sat there crying from the pain, an elderly neighbor, Mr. Samuel, walked by. He said softly, "Arjun, the pain you cause others often finds its way back to you. If you do not want to feel sorrow, do not be the cause of sorrow for others."
Arjun realized that his laughter had caused real pain. The next morning, he went to Ravi, apologized sincerely, and helped him build an even bigger clay house. This time, Arjun felt a warmth in his heart that was much better than the joy of a prank.
