In a peaceful valley lived a young boy named Arjun and his grandfather, a wise elder named Somnath. One day, a greedy merchant from the village decided to unfairly take away the small piece of land belonging to Arjun's family. When Arjun heard this, he was furious. 'Grandfather, shouldn't we fight him? Shouldn't we make him pay for his greed?' Arjun demanded.
Grandfather Somnath smiled gently and said, 'Arjun, true strength does not come from fighting back with anger. Instead, focus on your character. Strengthen your mind through discipline and kindness. Your inner peace will be your greatest shield.' Arjun was confused, but he decided to follow his grandfather's advice. He spent his days helping others, studying hard, and practicing mindfulness.
As months passed, Arjun’s calm and disciplined nature became an inspiration to the whole village. People began to respect his family more than ever before. Seeing Arjun’s pure heart and the respect he commanded, the greedy merchant felt a deep sense of shame. He realized his mistake and returned the land voluntarily. Arjun never raised his voice against the merchant, yet his virtuous life defeated the merchant's malice and brought prosperity to his family.
