In a peaceful village lived a young boy named Arjun. Arjun had a secret wish: he wanted everyone to think he was a mighty warrior. One afternoon, he found a heavy, dark cloak in his father's trunk. He draped it over his shoulders, grabbed a sturdy wooden stick, and marched into the village square.
'Look at me! I am the bravest boy in the land!' he shouted, puffing out his chest. The villagers smiled and admired his grand appearance. Arjun felt a surge of pride, but deep down, his heart was racing with anxiety. He was still the same boy who jumped at the sight of a tiny spider.
As the sun began to set, a small, stray puppy barked nearby. Arjun tried to act tough and chase it away, but his knees began to shake uncontrollably. The heavy cloak, which was supposed to make him look powerful, felt like a heavy burden that couldn't hide his trembling spirit.
His grandfather, seeing this, walked up to him and said gently, 'Arjun, wearing a lion's skin does not make a sheep a lion. True strength is not in what you wear, but in the courage you hold within your heart.'
Arjun realized that pretending to be something he wasn't only made him feel more hollow. He decided to work on his real courage instead of just his appearance.
