In a peaceful valley lived a young boy named Arjun. Arjun loved everything: the sweet taste of mangoes, the bright colors of butterflies, and the thrill of his new wooden toys. He felt that happiness only came from these things.
One day, an old sage named Ved arrived in the village. Ved sat under a tree, looking perfectly calm, even when a loud storm passed by. Arjun was curious. He approached the sage and asked, 'Master, how can you be so happy without any toys or sweets?'
Ved smiled gently. 'Arjun, true happiness doesn't come from holding onto things. To find real peace, one must learn to let go. You must train your eyes, ears, and mind not to be slaves to every passing pleasure or every old desire.'
A week later, Arjun was playing when his favorite toy broke into pieces. Usually, he would have cried for hours. But remembering the sage's words, he took a deep breath. He realized the toy was gone, and he didn't need it to be happy. He looked up at the sky and felt a strange, wonderful lightness in his heart. He had finally learned to let go.
