Once upon a time, in the beautiful kingdom of Pasulur, lived a king named Maaran. Maaran was brave and strong, but he had one big flaw: he was very impatient. He loved to act immediately without thinking things through. One day, news arrived that King Vikram of a neighboring land was planning to attack Pasulur to seize its fertile lands.
Upon hearing this, Maaran grew furious. He rushed to his wise advisor, Somu, and shouted, 'We must march to war right now! We cannot let him take our land!' Somu calmly replied, 'Your Majesty, please let us first assess our strength. Do we have enough soldiers? Is our food supply sufficient? Do we know the enemy's strategy? A planned battle is better than a rushed one.' But Maaran brushed him aside, saying, 'If we wait, we show fear!'
Maaran led his army out immediately. However, as they marched, things began to go wrong. The soldiers were exhausted, the supplies were low, and they realized they hadn't scouted the terrain. When they finally met King Vikram's army, they found the enemy was much better prepared and strategically positioned. Because Maaran hadn't weighed his own capabilities against the enemy's, his army struggled and was forced to retreat. Maaran sat in his palace, deeply regretful, realizing that his haste had only helped his enemy succeed.
