King Vikram of Solapur was known for his wisdom and fairness. One afternoon, a troubling rumor reached his court: grain was being stolen from the royal granary. Instead of rushing to judgment, the King summoned his three most trusted scouts.
He gave them a strict instruction: 'Go separately. Do not let each other know what you are doing. Only when your findings match, shall we act.'
The first scout, Arjun, disguised himself as a laborer to watch the granary from the inside. The second, Meera, pretended to be a traveling merchant to observe the surroundings. The third, Ravi, stayed hidden in the nearby forest to track anyone leaving the area at night.
After a few days, they met the King. Arjun reported, 'I saw a man hiding extra sacks under a wooden plank.' Meera added, 'I noticed a specific merchant carrying heavy, unusual loads at midnight.' Finally, Ravi said, 'I saw a man using the old forest path to transport those very sacks.'
