Once upon a time, in the prosperous kingdom of Chandrapuri, lived Prince Vikram. He was kind-hearted and intelligent, but he had one major flaw: he loved to sleep and lounge around. He spent most of his days resting in the palace gardens, avoiding any real work. His father, King Aditya, watched him with a heavy heart. One evening, the King called Vikram and said, "My son, the world is vast and full of wonders. But these wonders belong only to those who move. If you conquer your laziness, you will conquer the world."
To teach him a lesson, the King gave Vikram a task. He pointed to a dry, barren patch of land at the edge of the kingdom and said, "Turn this dust into a garden. If you can do this, you will prove you are ready to lead."
Vikram was hesitant at first. The sun was hot, and the soil was hard. But driven by a desire to prove himself, he began to work. He woke up before the birds sang, digging the earth and carrying water. There were days when he felt like giving up, but he pushed through. Slowly, the brown earth turned green. Flowers bloomed, and crops grew tall.
When the villagers saw the lush greenery where there was once only dust, they cheered for the Prince. Vikram realized that the joy of hard work was much greater than the comfort of sleep. By overcoming his laziness, he gained the respect of his people and eventually became a legendary king whose name was known across the lands.
